We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our Lux Row team in Bardstown, KY. As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for routine maintenance on distillery equipment, PLC and instrumentation troubleshooting and electrical work.

What will you do?

• Perform preventative and routine maintenance per established schedules and requests
• Assist in maintaining and ensure proper operation of boiler, Reverse Osmosis (RO) system, water softener, chiller and cooling tower
• Demonstrate working knowledge and ability to service and troubleshoot Programmable Logical Controller (PLC) and instrumentations
• Demonstrate sufficient knowledge of all Distillery equipment including but not limited to pneumatics, pumps, hydraulics, valves, etc.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of 480v/277v, 208v/120v single and three phase electrical systems.
• Maintain clean and tidy working areas at all times
• Comply with and follow all necessary Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), and Safety requirements.
• Communicate with the General Manager regarding equipment malfunction and or corrective action on daily basis
• Assist in Quality Control testing when necessary
• Other duties as assigned by the General Manager

What do you need to bring to the table?

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience within the food and/or beverage field with a strong understanding of the maintenance processes or licensed in skilled trade.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
